Over Valentine’s Day weekend, Cesar Evander co-curated Expressions of Love alongside Radmila Lolly, an exhibition devoted to exploring the many dimensions of love in all its facets. The show was conceived as a cultural inquiry: love as devotion, love as sacrifice, love as longing, love as renewal, love as artistic calling.

At the heart of the exhibition was Lovebirds, the very first creation from Evander. Lovebirds represents the harmonious relationship between two individuals who choose one another continually. Its symbolism rests in commitment not merely romance, but the enduring devotion required to sustain a shared life. The piece reflects the founding story of the Evander House itself: a union built on intention, artistry, and mutual belief.

The exhibition brought together a carefully selected group of artists whose practices resonated deeply with the theme. Each participant was selected by Cesar Evander and Radmila Lolly for both their artistic excellence and their conceptual alignment. Their works examined love through diverse mediums and perspectives, offering a nuanced dialogue rather than a singular definition.

A highlight of the weekend was the artist panel, where participating creators spoke openly about the meaning behind their pieces and their personal interpretations of love. Through Expressions of Love, Evander reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local artists and bringing meaningful artistic experiences to the public.
